Decorative fruit salad techniques?
I want to make a fruit salad that looks more creative than just randomly chopping up fruit.
Does anybody have and ideas on how to prepare fruit to put in a fruit salad to make it look really good?
I want to put the fruit in a glass bowl so no carved melons needed thanks 
If you putting it in a bowl :make an ice bowl , just get 2 large bowls , some edible petals , herbs or flowers ,bit of water [ coloured ? ] & some flowers ,weigh down with other bowl & freeze & keep adding to it till you have a frozen bowl then just use lots of different colours & textures of fruit .
