Can you Trust Bottled Water?

What is this great debate about? Why haven’t I heard about it? Much of the arguments are being suppressed, as multinational Corporations and Governments have a lot to loose! . Tax and profits Action groups like the environmentalists are generating these debates . There are many questions being raised. Why is there no real strong laws about the quality for bottled water?

Take a little personal inventory and ask if;

  • Do you purchase it due to the quality of the water?
  • You purchase the bottled water out of convenience?
  • Tap water is of lesser quality than bottled water

If you reply the second, vs the former, then pay close to attention to just what you may be ingesting.

What is the average weekly spend? Is it $10 or $20? If you bought 5 bottles per week, that is less than 1 per day, at $3 per bottle. This equates to an amazing $60 per week/week for an average family.

For starters, it has been known for a period of time according to the Resources Defence Council the bottles from water make a contribution to the one hundred sixty million bottles a day that finish up in landfills.

What about themanufacture of the plastic bottle? Over 90g of oil and 1.6Kg of carbon emissions to produce just one plastic water bottle. Further to this, is the impact of transportation. The plastic bottles are often global exported. The conservative figures are over 45 billion bottles. How much CO2 is being used to transport the bottled water? Some travelling many thousands of miles!

This by itself must make the average consumer consider carefully about general Water Quality once the decomposing of the bottles hits our water ways. The facts show that to have purer quality of water a home, attaching a purifying unit to your tap is the best answer.

Bottled water might be safe enough when it is originally purified and put into plastic bottles but considering its container, it does not stay that way for long. In a study that analyzed the safest known plastic on the market, there was still a high rate of manmade chemicals leached into the water from the bottle after being stored for any length of time . {It becomes worse when stored in temperatures like warehouses and storage rooms|In high temperature environments this is accelerated significantly.

Another major concern other than the leached plastic is the bacteria, virus’s and chemical in bottled water. The WHO agency, tested over 100 brands of water. Thirty three percent tested. Even some found traces of arsenic.

From the website WaterWarning it is noted that there’s no chemically-free way to get safe water quality from a these plastic bottles when water is stored for long periods. The facts are that it takes 7 times as much water to make a plastic bottle then the water that it can hold. Not only is this a waste of our valuable resources but of money and time also. The most effective way to get safe drinking water at home is from a home filtering machine.

But do you do when not at home? There’s a inexpensive answer! At less than 1 cent per litre, SureAqua have produced a portable water filtration unit unlike lots of other that actually removes bacteria, viruses and protozoa’s out of water. It also has a safety cut-off mechanism.

The way it works is that there’s a specifically designed membrane that only let molecules and particles thru that are smaller than 0.01 microns that’s a surprisingly 5 times smaller than the tiniest known virus and a great one hundred times smaller than the tiniest widely known bacteria ( one micron ).*

The cheapest, safest and most convenient method to get the finest Water Quality to your door, is just to purchase a home water filtration device and have portable water purification devices in your purse, briefcase, automobile, backpack when not at home.

Take this into account for your house and out-of-home needs when you determining whether to get a water purification unit or bottled water. For the fragment of the price of water bottles, less contamination and less environmental impact these is a genuine and effective alternative.

Do yourself a favour and have a look at Sure Aqua product range, it will save you money

Note: Viruses and bacteria are being discovered every day and this might be incorrect at the time of reading.
