Have More Fun With A New Pair Of K2 Burnin Luv Skis

The best ones in my opinion are the K2 burnin Luv Skis and I cannot honestly see any other change in the horizon. One of the best skis in the K2 line specifically aimed at high performing women, they are great on groomed runs at fast speeds. I formerly skied the K2 One Luv which took me from a low intermediate skier to advanced intermediate seamlessly.

When, I grew out of the One Luvs a couple of years ago I was looking for a zippy performance ski that was stable at high speeds, had good grip on ice and loved turning. It was necessary for me to be able to deal with most types of terrain under a wide variety of weather conditions. I actually tried quite a few high end technical skis made by well known brands but when I tested the Burnin Luvs there was no going back. The others were good but they cannot compete, in my opinion the Burnin Luvs are superior in all the aspects that are most important to me.

During the winters my family lives and works at a ski resort that has a lot of hard pack and icy conditions. Sometimes we find fresh powder that quickly gets icy and heavy. Fast on steep groomers is my favorite style of skiing and I find the K2 Burnin Luv skis responsive and stable with great edge control and precision. They can deal with ice and high speeds without much of a problem.

Their are truly great when it comes to turning. They transition beautifully from long carving turns to snappy short ones, which is where I feel they really outclass their competition. Turn initiation is fast and intuitive and they almost flick you out at the end. It took a couple of runs for me to get used to this but after a few times it is an a mazing feeling that you get to adore.

They are a bit narrow at the waist to be considered a great powder ski but this is not what they are designed for and they are adequate for the amount of powder that we get. If I had the chance to ski in a place that had fresh powder often I would definitely spend some money of a pair of skis for powder days.

The only thing I don’t like about the K2 Burnin Luv skis is the graphics. In my opinion they do not have the most stylish of looks and the pattern used on the bindings makes things even worse. I love these skis so much though, that I don’t even consider the aesthetics and, as I said, it is my personal opinion. I know many others who think they look great. The only thing that I care about is how well the behave while I go down the mountain.
