A Rapid Comparability Of Antibacterial Soap Vs Purell Hand Sanitizer

It has been shown that over 80% of the infections that people get are contracted from germs and bacteria on the hands. A person who has a cold and sneezes in their surroundings, wipes their face, shakes hands with someone, or answers a telephone, is leaving germs that are going to be passed to someone else. The need for hygiene has been well known for several years. In order to reduce the chance of E Coli being spread in restaurants, all service staff are required to use either antibacterial soap or Purell.

A gap was identified in the ability of using soap for hand hygiene because of the need for water and a towel to dry the hands and staying away from resorting to disposable gloves. While soap is effective, this creates an inconvenience in areas where there is no source of water. However, Purell is easily placed in any location and does not require any accessories to be used.

When a person is using a liquid antibacterial soap, the weight can be prohibitive for children or individuals who have medical conditions. However, the sanitizer is available in lightweight, affordable containers that kill 99.9% of germs the instant it is used and dries quickly without the need for a towel. The plunger caps of the bottles make it very easy for any age-group to use effectively.

A sanitation station is more efficient when it is in an easy to access location in a home, office, or other area. Soap dispensers are limited to bathrooms and areas near water. However, the frames for systems are mobile and can be placed in any high traffic area. Since the main ingredient for Purell is alcohol however, it will be important to have an alternative for individuals who have this sensitivity.

Antibacterial soap contains Triclosan or Chjloroxylenol, which does not work as fast as Purell which instantly kills germs on contact. However, most of the soaps contact protective moisturizers that keep the hands from drying out. While the sanitizing solution contains moisturizing emollients, it should be noted that constant use may cause some dryness.

Liquid antibacterial soap comes in many shapes and containers. It is also available in a bar form that can be used when traveling. The Purell is in different sized, recyclable plastic containers that have a plunger for ease of use. These make the sanitizer a better choice for use in areas where there is not a water source, but germs are a concern. The larger sanitizing stations are easy to replace since the systems are mobile so they can be placed where they are most needed.

Many people have found that keeping the Purell sanitizer in their homes is more convenient than making family members wash their hands at a sink when they have been outside, touch something or use the telephone. Since it does not need a water source to be used and air-dries very quickly, there is no need to have a towel or water on hand for use, such as with antibacterial soap.

One of the most favorable characteristics of Purell hand sanitizer is that it can be placed in a vehicle or in a heavy traffic area so that children are not bringing germs and infections into the home. This is much more convenient than trying to get family members to wash their hands with antibacterial soap in a bathroom when they come in the house. This is a great product that will help lessen the use of disposable gloves in the household.
